If they forgo a guy in a panda suit and just make all the animal forms stuffed animals with voice overs for the animal noises I could see this potentially going into "so bad it's good" territory.

Yui Aragaki was good in Hanamizuki, but I read somewhere that it was supposed to be her last schoolgirl role and her transition into more adult roles. Oh well; she still looks young enough to convincingly play a schoolgirl.
