Nintendo Announces Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Game for Switch 2

Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct on Friday Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a new game in the Fire Emblem strategy RPG series. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The company streamed a trailer:
The game's trailer teases a story revolves around the "Heroic Games." Sothis from the 2019 Fire Emblem: Three Houses game appears at the end of the video.
The latest installment in the franchise, the Fire Emblem Engage strategy RPG, launched for Nintendo Switch in January 2023.
The Fire Emblem: Three Houses Switch game launched in July 2019.
Nintendo released an updated version of its Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light game, the first title in the Fire Emblem series, for Switch in December 2020.
