Nice to see something done for Kondo. I like to think of him as the Joe Ranft of Studio Ghibli.

Super happy and super sad at the same time. Whisper is my favorite Ghibli film; it's so bittersweet to think of what such a talented director could have brought to the studio long-term. The work he did do is certainly worth commemorating.

If anything, Whisper is certainly a hard lesson one has to accept about failure in the best way possible. At least, that's how I saw the film and for what it showed about being good at something, never give up. |
