Why is this being called episode 40?
There were only 13 episodes in season 1 and 25 for season 2. Or are you counting episode 13.5 as a whole episode by itself?

Biggest hit since Dragon Ball??? Not sure about that one....

But I’m very excited for this premiere. The anime has found a really solid pace that I can get behind. And even when things are slow, the cast of the series is so enjoyable that I can look past it.

The hosts of the event, who are involved with the English dub, referred to it as episode 40 - which it is, for production, since they also count the recap. The official listed episode count is 39, though, so we swapped it out. Just a little confusion, but it's ironed out now.

Less then 1 week before the AOTY comes back! I AM SO HYPED! Studio BONES clearly got the whole series fully understood now and they have been delivering us so much good glorious moments. This episode having lots of original added content makes me super excited. That's always how an adaptation should be. Use the medium to its best!

The year of MHA folks, I am so happy this series blew up like it did and that it received one of the best adaptation out there.

Also, I never would've guessed Mike Toole was into MHA.

I hope Mineta gets some solid character development over time. I getting just about as tired of him being a low-hanging fruit for criticism every article or comment I read as much as I am his incessant pervert shtick.
