3 years ago we were told Angel Beats 1st Beat was at 50% progress for the English translation and there has been absolute radio silence about it since, so I really hope we get 1st Beat before Summer Pockets.

Valid Point.

I have 1st Beat but the JP version.

As for Summer Pockets.. I'm game so long as I don't need a switch.

The “announcement” of EN 1st Beat was in a Q&A with Key’s top staff at Anime Central (I was there), and we haven’t heard a peep since then. I think pretty much everyone has concluded by this point that it’s not actually happening, if it ever was. The lack of a JP 2nd Beat also doesn’t bode well for the Angel Beats! franchise.

And that is also a shame.. Angel Beats is one of my favorite Key titles right up there with Little Busters.
