Well, crap. But why the rerun? That means TPN season 2 will have another 12 episodes instead 24 and the manga has more than 100 chapters. I'll be disappointed if that's true.

I vastly prefer delays to unnecessary health risks and potential death, so I am okay with the delay. Just gives me more time to rewatch the first season and read the first 10 volumes I bought after falling in love with the anime Very Happy

I can't imagine how anything isn't cancelled/delayed given the nature of animation production mostly requiring a studio space, even if animators can work at home and hand in their frames, there's just too much requirement of needing to collaborate and fine-tune. That requires in person work, far beyond what talk show hosts are doing with their shows now. And that just in general, Japanese work ethic seems to be on emphasis in-office time, not working from home.

you can collaborate (talk, see chara designs, sketch ideas) just fine with technology.

think the on-site work is more with software sight licenses, file sizes with is probably the more limiting step

The rerun was always planned for Season 1. It’s just now the rerun is delayed because they wanted Seasons 1 & 2 back to back. So now something else will take the spot for the Season 1 reruns till October.

To be honest, after the first arc, this series sort of went off the rails for me.

I'll still read the manga until the end, because it's quite literally only a few chapters away from ending, but think I'll pass on the second season of the anime.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the start of more fall season shows being pushed back since Spring and Summer shows start getting pushed back a season or two.

Leave Japan the hell alone already, virus! Or at least the anime industry. Am I being selfish? Totally. Do I care? Nope. I've been seriously sick for over a year now, stuck in bed all day, and anime plays a big part in maintaining my sanity.
