Well, it looks like the announcement video also says Winter 2021. So that's how it's being advertised, and it's not a typo on ANN's part. Kinda strange. I wonder if it'll be premiering later in the Fall season this year, closer to Winter? |

As the other commentor said, the video says 2021年冬公開予定, which means a planned 2021 winter debut. However, while we originally wrote in the article that the video says the anime is a series of shorts, that's actually not correct; it says it's a "short animation," which could mean series of shorts but it could also just mean it's a singular anime short. The word 公開 usually refers to a theatrical debut, so we're not actually completely sure of the format yet (online, TV, theatrical, OVA). I've reworded the article to reflect this. |
