Mai Mai Miracle is licesned by Nozomi and available in BluRay on TRSI's website right now, for what it's worth.

Yeah, the comment at the end bemoaning a lack of physical release and the title saying it needs licensed really confused me. I have that Nozomi Blu-Ray on my shelf right now, and it's almost 2 years old at this point. Mai Mai Miracle also had a Kickstarter release by All the Anime that put out a BD/DVD combo for English language territories in Europe and North America, so that one is probably harder to find and out of print. But it's absolutely easily in print and licensed by Nozomi right now.

All the Anime put it out on DVD/Blu-ray some time ago which is Region 1/A compatible (funded by a partially U.S. based Kickstarter campaign). Its still available as of this writing.

Definitely a film worth seeking out, absolutely beautiful and poignant. It also led me to discover Kotringo who is now one of my favorite vocalists.

While it is a good Movie, I preferred it less than the other two Movies that Katabuchi made, Princess Arete and In This Corner of the World.

I still wonder if Shout Factory will release In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World anytime soon. I want to rewatch the movie, but I'd rather see the complete version instead of the original cut down version.
