For those not in the know, Hayami-san is also the original Akira Fudo/Devilman from the first OVA put out in 1987. I hope he and Igarashi-san will be all right, and have speedy, complete recoveries.

Sho Hayami was actually the second person to play Akira Fudo/Devilman. The role was first played by Ryōichi Tanaka in the original 1972 Devilman anime TV series.
