Ahh yes, the Tsubasa OVAs, the one segment of the anime that's actually worth watching.

Completely agree. The TV series was watchable but didn't do the source material justice. The OVA's are leaps and bounds better, and actually more mature. Would be awesome if they got season 2 of Holic and the OVA's. Those are actually some of my most anticipated licenses from FUNi, but rather than continuing what they started they just keep licensing cannon fodder. |

I wish I could get these, since they do look up my alley and Production IG is a huge positive, but I'm holding true to my no-BeeTrain rule in regards to the TV series not to mention, it was totally unwatchable. Oh well, a cruel fate indeed.

Tokyo Revelations is easily my favorite arc of the whole series, I'm really glad to see it get picked up. (It's just too bad that everything afterwards was so unnecessarily confusing...)

Yes it's worth watching, but it does assume you've read the first ~18 volumes of the manga, and is of an arc with a major plot twist; will spoil the manga if you're not up to it already. The TV anime is not cannon to the OADs at all, they follow the manga very closely. Don't know anyone that's seen them without knowing the series, but the production is up to doing the manga art some justice and it's a fairly action heavy arc. |

That's what I'm hoping for as well but considering they haven't licensed teh 2nd season I HIGHLY doubt they are going to license the xxxHolic OVA's. My guess is that for whatever reason xxxHolic didn't perform as well as Tsubasa did and that(unless it's announced in the near future) That they won't get anymore xxxHolic. I hope I'm wrong because I love xxxHolic and would really like to see the 2nd season and OVA's dubbed. I loved Todd and Colleen as Watanuki and Yuko. |

Super glad these finally got licensed. Ashamed that XXXholic S2 and the OVA's didn't get licensed as well but not surprising since I never got the impression that XXXholic did all that well over here, atleast not compared to Tsubasa.
