Mashima seems like a truly hardworking mangaka. This isn't the first time he has created more and faster Fairy Tail content than I don't think he has any obligation to do. It shows he really likes drawing.
The bad thing is, what he really should do, is use more time discussing with his editors, where the should go, or just hire a writer. |

He can't just be doing this for no reason. Maybe the manga is coming towards a final arc or something? Either that or he's working his ass off for the anime to return in some form? |

He already seemed to do more pages a week than most weekly mangaka off the top of my head with pretty clear and sound artwork too...
I hope it turns out to be good then. |

Thats a hard working dude right there. Got a lot of respect for that but he does need to spend a bit more time on the story too. I remember the time he had 2 or 3 chapters out in one day.
On the subject of his good news, i'm not really counting on the anime returning as early as this year or at all but if it does i'm hoping a different studio is behind it cause tbh even for a long running show, Fairy Tail had way more awful animation than the other big long running shows. Heres hoping for a Bones remake

The problem is that Fairy Tail doesn't do well enough in anime form for a big budget. Also, it's only produced in SD which probably means the budget is rather poor. As for quality, well yeah, stuff like One Piece looks good being produced in HD, but that gets 1 chapter animated per episodes, and a lot of the content in that is still frames. I think it's only stuff like Naruto that has fairly consistent production qualities for a long running show. The main thing for Fairy Tail, as long as the anime returns in some shape or form, the fans will be happy. Even if they just finish the Grand Magic Games arc off in the forms of OVA's, it would be better than nothing. |
