Definitely like the choices. I, personally, enjoyed A Silent Voice. Touches a subject not too often approached in manga that I've read.

A Silent Voice is a really special series so I hope to see it win the award.

A Silent Voice should definitely win this. Hopefully the movie will do justice to the manga but I doubt it will.

My vote is on Silver Spoon. I liked Silent Voice, but I kind of felt like it got a bit long towards the end, whereas Silver Spoon has had consistent quality and good pacing throughout.

Woah, NARUTO got nominated...
If that's how it is then if One Piece ended too or whatever, it will get nominated too?

hmm? Maybe I'm just shocked. Haha. (I'm guilty, I like Naruto, ending was arguable, still, what....)

I personally don't want Koe no Katachi (silent voice) to win.
yes, it touched a subject of bullying and the deaf, there's nothing too magnificent about it. Meh.

Does a manga have to have been out for a certain amount of time for it to get nominated? [i]My Hero Academia[i] seems to have been nominated and/or won every manga award as of late, and this seems to be the only one where it didn't get a mention.

I really enjoy Assassination Classroom. The heavy plot twist in chapter 128 had a high impression to all readers.

Silver Spoon is my choice here even if the similar/older Ja Ja Uma Grooming UP! is better but Naruto deserves a lifetime achievement award or something as it genially helped the industry to grow even if act 3 was a giant mess.
Sorry but a A Silent Voice was only "decent" to me as in de-evolved into a melodrama (with borderline harem elements) with no closure.

I would like Silver Spoon to get this one. It needs more incentives for someone to pick it up for an English release. I've followed the story since its first chapter and I would like nothing more than to own it.

I want A Silent Voice to win on the grounds that I don't think I have ever seen a story where the bully is the lead character. Usually the victim is the one whose head we get stuck in or some hero helping the victim.

The Naruto nomination is like the manga equivalent of the Oscars awarding Hayao Miyazaki an award this year because he's retiring, right?

That boat one about a freak show sounds cool. Are there any potential licenses in this list? I'd love, love, love to see Silver Spoon licensed, but Viz only wants *marketable*, action-oriented shonen, apparently (and it's not like the anime blew up its popularity here, which makes a license less likely).

With the description of Assassination Classroom shouldn't it read:
Quote:
after 70% of the moon is destroyed
?

I haven't read Silent Voice fully yet but I believe it would be a worthy winner. I'd also be happy to see Naruto get this one after it's longevity.

Silver Spoon deserves all the prizes it can get, in my opinion; some people may look down on it since it completely different from Fullmetal Alchemist, yet that's what makes it really worthwhile since the author is demonstrating that she can write very well even realistic, everyday stuff, which are often the most difficult things to write in a compelling way.

I'm glad the manga is published in Italy, and I feel sorry for people who can't buy it yet. Sad
