Three completely new licenses were announced. These are:
  • Abenobashi Magical Shopping District (retitled Abenobashi Magical Shopping Street): a 13-episode TV series from Gainax and Madhouse frequently described as an anime take on Fox's "Sliders"
  • Final Fantasy: Unlimited
  • Azumanga Daioh

In addition, the last six episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion TV will be re-released, with the two new discs featuring both the original episodes and new "director's cut" versions.

ADV Films live action releases in the upcoming months will include: Mutant X, The Beast Master, Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict, and the Pierce Brosnan TV mini-series "Around the World in 80 Days." Japanese-produced live action releases will include Gamera 2: Attack of Legion, Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, and the Yokai Monsters movies.

Other OVA and theatrical feature releases will include:

Nuku Nuku Dash
Cosplay Complex
Rurouni Kenshin OAV director's cut
Project Eden
Puni Puni Poemi
Dirty Pair Flash OAV
Bakuretsu Hunters OAV
Spectral Force
Nadesico: Prince of Darkness
I Wish You Were Here/Zaion
Hoshi no Koe/Voices of a Distant Star)

The release of the latter, a 25-minute OVA, will include extensive extras, including both the voice track originally recorded by director Makoto Shinkai, who voiced the male lead, the professional Japanese voice track and the English. Other bonus items will include Shinkai's five-minute anime short "She and Her Cat" (Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko).

TV series to be released in the future include: Angelic Layer, Southern Cross, Mospeada, Eden's Bowy, Aura Battler Dunbine, Full Metal Panic, Let's Dance With Papa, Pre-Tear, Saiyuki, Orphen's Revenge, KaleidoStar, Bubblegum Crisis 2041, the Farscape anime, a Mutineer's Moon anime series and subtitled box sets of Sailor Moon.

Since a total of ten separate dubbing teams are currently working for ADV, the number of new titles acquired in the immediate future will increase dramatically, with up to five announcements per major convention during the rest of the year.
