The official Twitter account for the Resident Evil game series announced on Monday that the Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 games will launch for Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop on May 21. Pre-orders will begin on February 28.

All three games will be available separately digitally in Europe. Additionally, the Resident Evil Origins Collection release will be available for Switch at retail in North America. Resident Evil Origins Collection bundles the Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 games and originally launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.

Capcom USA announced in October that the games would get a release for Nintendo Switch.

The original Resident Evil (Biohazard) survival horror game debuted for PlayStation in 1996. Capcom originally released Resident Evil 0 on the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. Capcom first released the Resident Evil 4 game for GameCube in 2005.
