Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Stage Play Reveals Main Visual

The official website for the stage play adaptation of Chiaki Kisaki and Hako Ichiiro's Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens light novel series revealed the play's main visual on Thursday. The visual imitates a previous light novel illustration.
The play stars Shōri Kondō as Zenji Banba and Ryōhei Takenaka as Lin Xianming. The play will run at the Theater Sun Mall in Tokyo from July 13 to 21. Kazuhito Yoneyama is directing and scripting the play.
The story of the novels takes place in Fukuoka. At first glance, the city seems like a peaceful one, but under the surface, crime is running rampant. The city's Hakata ward is home to the professionals of the underworld: professional killers, detectives, informants, professional revenge seekers, those skilled in torture, and more. And according to urban legend, even a "killer of professional killers" exists in the city.
The novels received a television anime adaptation that premiered in January 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub for the anime.
