Lampoons Hello Kitty with Katy Perry, adds Soul Eater, One Piece, Negima items to stage set
The U.S. comedy series Saturday Night Live aired a new skit about the Japanophiles on Michigan State University Campus TV's fictional "J Pop America Fun Time Now" program. This time, the focus of the jokes was the more enthusiastic side of Hello Kitty fandom, as personified by this week's guest host Katy Perry. Justin Rojas, Senior Social Media Manager at Funimation, notes that Saturday Night Live has added Soul Eater and One Piece character goods to the stage set since the first skit in October.
