Prepare for Showtime With Detective Conan Kaito Kid Tea

The Japanese tea shop Karel Čapek unveiled tea inspired by Gōshō Aoyama's Detective Conan (Case Closed) manga on Wednesday. The Kaito Kid "Night Earl Grey" tea will go on sale at the end of February.
The tea is a special Earl Grey black tea blend with dimbra tea. The Kaito Kid tea collection will offer a set of five tea bags, a tin filled with eight tea bags, and a mug. The shop's owner Utako Yamada is a picture book author, and she provided original illustrations for the packaging. The illustration features Kaito Kid's catchphrase, "It's a Showtime!"
The Meitantei Conan Kara Kurenai no Love Letter anime film, which will open in Japan on April 15, is also inspiring Heiji and Kazuha character tea this spring. The tea shop, named after the Czech writer Karel Čapek who was active in the early 20th century, already released Conan-themed "Color Trick Tea" as well as Shinichi and Ran-themed "Ran's Lemon Pie Tea."
The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime also inspired two teacup and saucer sets last year.
