Virgin-Killing Sweater Finds New Appeal on Male Cosplayers

Male crossplay is hardly a rare sight at Stateside conventions. Men have enthralled congoers as Hestia but have also found barriers to their hobby at Japanese conventions. A current trend, the "virgin-killing sweater," took over pixiv and garnered commentary from Takuya Eguchi and Sanrio mascot Kirimi-chan. During its height, female models posted numerous snapshots on Twitter and Instagram while wearing the sweater.

One male cosplayer, Yokohama-based Yomimate decided to take a break from his convincing turn as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Cars to try on the sweater.
