'Fatespain' Site is Fate/Grand Order-turas realta- Manga License Announcement

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The "www.fatespain.com" countdown website updated with a link to a manga licensing announcement on Thursday. The link directs to Spanish-language publisher Ediciones Babylon announcement that it licensed Kawakami's Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta- (Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta) manga.

Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta- is the manga adaptation of the Fate/Grand Order mobile game. The manga launched in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in August 2017. Ediciones Babylon will release the first volume in September. The publisher describes the story:

"The human race will become extinct in 2017." The Chaldea organization, an organization charged with preserving the future of humanity, observes a singularity. To solve it, Rika Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight will be transported to the city of Fuyuki in 2004. The battle for the future of humanity has begun.

The license announcement was meant to be a surprise however, fans became suspicious of the site's legitimacy because the it lacked Fate/Grand Order copyright information and that the domain does not match the styling of other official Fate/Grand Order sites. The corresponding Twitter account was suspended, causing Europe-based localization company Nagareboshi to issue a statement verifying the site's legitmacy.. The site now includes copyright for TYPE-MOON, Kodansha, and Ediciones Babylon.
