Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Manga Resumes on February 14

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga went on hiatus in July

This year's fourth issue of Kodansha's Evening magazine revealed on January 24 that Yasuhisa Kubo's Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san (You're Being Summoned, Azazel) manga will return from its hiatus in the magazine's next issue on February 14. The manga last ran in 2016's 16th issue on July 26. The magazine announced in September that the manga would be on hiatus until November due to the author's circumstances, but the manga has not yet resumed serialization.

The manga last entered a hiatus in May 2014, but resumed in January 2015.

The gag comedy story revolves around the detective Akutabe, his assistant Rinko sakuma., and the various magical demons (such as Azazel) that Akutabe uses for his cases. The manga has been running in Evening since 2007, and the series was nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award in 2009. Kodansha released the manga's 13th compiled book volume in Japan on April 22.

The manga inspired a television anime series in 2011 and a second season in 2013. Right Stuf released both seasons on DVD in February 2015. Crunchyroll added both series in May.
