Tatsunoko's Infini-T Force Anime Reveals 1st Cast Member, Main Staff

Tomokazu Seki plays G-01, Psycho-Pass 2's Kiyotaka Suzuki directs Fall show with character designs by 'Oh! great'

The official website of Tatsunoko Productions' Infini-T Force "full 3DCG" television anime revealed the anime's main staff and first cast member on Wednesday.

Tomokazu Seki (Fate/stay night's Gilgamesh, Psycho-Pass' Kōgami) will voice Gatchaman G-01/Ken Washio.

Kiyotaka Suzuki (Psycho-Pass 2) is directing the anime at Digital Frontier (The Boy and The Beast, Wolf Children), and Toshiya Ono (Gatchaman Crowds, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga) is supervising the anime's scripts. Manga creator Oh! great (Tenjo Tenge, Air Gear) designed the original character concepts. Keiichi Satou (The Big O, Ninja Resurrection) is in charge of the original hero design concepts, and Koji Nakakita (Gatchaman Crowds, Jūsō Kikō Dancouga Nova) is in charge of suit and mechanical designs.

The anime will begin airing this October on NTV and other channels.

The official website began streaming a promotional video on Tuesday.

The project celebrates Tatsunoko Productions' 55th anniversary in October 2017. The anime will feature the heroes from four earlier Tatsunoko Productions anime: Tekkaman, the Space Knight, Casshan (Casshern), Gatchaman, and Hurricane Polymar (pictured from left to right in image below). Silhouettes of the characters appear in a promotional image that debuted at the AnimeJapan event last year.

The Infini-T Force anime will have a different story from an earlier Infini-T Force ~Mirai no Byōsen~ (Infini-T Force: Writing Line of the Future) manga by Ukyō Kodachi (Boruto, Naruto: Gaara Hiden - Sajingensō novel). The manga launched in the December 2015 issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Hero's magazine. Kodachi is writing the story, and Tatsuma Ejiri (P2! - Let's Play Pingpong!, World 4u_) is illustrating the series. Shogakukan released the manga's second compiled book volume on October 5.

The story of the original manga begins when a girl named Emi uses a pencil that can grant any wish. Emi gets caught up in the robbery of a convenience store, and her life is in danger. She uses the pencil to wish for a "hero that will save everyone." Four heroes appear in response to Emi's wish to change the course of the future.

Tatsunoko Productions' 55th anniversary celebration also includes live-action Hurricane Polymar film and its new Time Bokan 24 television anime.
