As Miss Beelzebub Likes Anime Reveals October Premiere, Cast, Staff

The July issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine revealed on Tuesday that the television anime adaptation of matoba's As Miss Beelzebub Likes (Beelzebub-jō no Okinimesu Mama.) manga will premiere in October. The magazine also revealed the show's main cast and staff.

Rikuya Yasuda (Cute High Earth Defense Club HAPPY KISS!' Taishi Manza) stars in the series as Murin, and Saori Ōnishi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?'s Aiz Wallenstein) stars as Beelzebub.

Minato Kazuto (Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Yoriko Tomita (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, Puzzle & Dragons X scriptwriter) is both overseeing and writing the series scripts. Etsuko Sumimoto (Tsuredure Children, Yuri Kuma Arashi) is designing the characters for animation, and Satoshi Motoyama (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Haganai) is the sound director. Singer Kanon Wakeshima (theme songs for Vampire Knight, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) and naotyu- (Nisekoi - False Love, Isuca) are composing the music.

The official website for the anime will reveal a teaser promotional video and a visual later on Tuesday.

Yen Press is publishing the manga in North America, and it describes the story:

matoba launched the manga in Monthly Shonen Gangan in July 2015. Square Enix published the manga's seventh compiled book volume in Japan on April 21. Yen Press published the manga's first compiled book volume on April 24.
