Earth Defense Force 5 Game's English Trailer Reveals Western Release 'Coming Soon'

The official PlayStation YouTube channel began streaming an English trailer on Friday for D3 Publisher's Earth Defense Force 5 PlayStation 4 game. The video is an English version of the reveal trailer D3 Publisher streamed in Japanese in September 2016.
The video states that the game is "coming soon." Digital pre-orders are available on the PlayStation Store for both a standard and deluxe edition. The deluxe edition for US$89.99 includes a PS4 theme, a "Decoy launcher [Pale Wing]" and "Star Burst," 12 variations of additional weapons and support arms, and two mission packs that will be available post launch.
The YouTube description on the video features a link to an English website for the game, but the website is not yet live.
The game launched in Japan on December 7. The game was initially slated for summer 2017 but D3 Publisher delayed the game to improve its quality.
In the game, the Earth is at peace when suddenly an alien life form called "immigrants" attack, and the EDF must again take up arms against the invaders. The new enemy in this latest game in the series is a humanoid enemy.
