New "pair visual" revealed for series premiering in October

The staff of the original television anime Hoshiai no Sora (Star-Crossing Skies) revealed two more cast members and a visual for the series on Friday. Yūsuke Kobayashi will play Nao Tsukinose (left in image below), a boy who exists in his own world, and says things that are surprising to Maki. Kōhei Amasaki will play Taiyō Ishigami (right), who often has to rein in Tsubasa and Shingo. He gets nervous easily, even in practice matches. He is indecisive, and tends to follow people rather than lead.

The anime will premiere in October on TBS and BS-TBS. The previously revealed cast includes:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Tōma Shinjō (left) and Natsuki Hanae as Maki Katsuragi (right)

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Itsuki Ameno (left) and Gen Sato as Rintarō Futsu (right)

Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Tsubasa Soga (left) and Keisuke Satō as Shingo Takenouchi (right)

Kazuki Akane (Escaflowne series and film, Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Noein - to your other self) is directing anime at 8-Bit and also supervising and writing the series scripts. Yūichi Takahashi is adapting the original character designs by illustrator Itsuka, and he is also serving as animation director. Miki Takeshita is in charge of scene setting, and Shiori Shiwa is directing the art. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound at Magic Capsule. Flying Dog is responsible for the music, and instrumental band jizue are composing the music for the anime.

Megumi Nakajima will perform the opening theme song "Suisō" (Aquarium).

The teen adolescence story revolves around the coming of age of boys in a junior high school's soft tennis team, which is on the verge of shutting down. Tōma Shinjō asks Maki Katsuragi, who has just transferred schools, to join the team.
