Sentai Filmworks already streams series with subs

Sentai Filmworks announced at its panel at Otakon on Friday it will release an English dub for the television anime of Ren Kawahara's Ao-chan Can't Study! (Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyō ga Dekinai) manga. The company also noted at that panel that its full English dub of the Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? anime is launching today.

The company describes Ao-chan Can't Study!:

Ao Horie's father, a popular erotic fiction author, chose Ao's name because A stands for “apple” and O stands for “orgy”! Desperate to escape her father's legacy and get into a prestigious university, Ao devotes herself to studying instead of pursuing romance. She has no time for boys, but there's just one problem: Kijima, her handsome and popular classmate, just confessed his love to her! And to make matters worse, she can't stop thinking dirty thoughts about him! Looks like escaping her father's influence will be harder than she thought

Sentai Filmworks licensed the series worldwide outside Asia. The anime is streaming with English subtitles on HIDIVE and Crunchyroll.

The anime premiered in Japan on April 5.

Keisuke Inoue (episode director for Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Masamune-kun's Revenge, Two Car) directed the anime at SILVER LINK Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Children of the Whales, Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) was in charge of series scripts. Miwa Oshima (The Story of Saiunkoku, Koihime Musō, Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA) designed the characters. Two-member band Edoga Sullivan's performed the opening theme song "Wonderful Wonder," and three-member band Spira Spica (Gundam Build Divers) performed the show's ending theme song "Koi wa Miracle" (Love is a Miracle).
