Anime premieres in Japan on Friday

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One Asia YouTube channel announced on Monday that it will stream the television anime of Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Ani-One Asia will stream the anime on its YouTube channel, but will also stream it on My-TV SUPER in Hong Kong; in myVideo, KKTV, Bahamut Animation Madness, and friDay Video in Taiwan; and on Dimsum in Brunei, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Ani-One Asia is streaming a Chinese-subtitled promotional video for the anime.

Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

In a world where demons feed on unsuspecting humans, fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryoumen Sukuna were lost and scattered about. Should any demon consume Sukuna's body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it. Fortunately, there exists a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers who exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the undead!

The series will premiere in Japan on October 2 in the "Super Animeism" block on MBS, TBS and their affiliates, and will air on Fridays at 25:25 (effectively, Saturdays at 1:25 a.m.). Crunchyroll will stream the anime outside of Asia as the anime airs in Japan, starting on October 2.

Sunghoo Park (The God of High School) is directing the anime at MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan: Lost Girls, Banana Fish, Vinland Saga) is writing and supervising the scripts. Tadashi Hiramatsu (His and Her Circumstances, Yuri!!! on Ice, Parasyte -the maxim-) is designing the characters. Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui, and Arisa Okehazama are composing the music.

Eve is performing the opening theme song "Kaikai Kitan," and -Ali is performing the ending theme song "Lost in Paradise feat. AKLO."
