Ani-One Streams Food Wars! Season 4 on YouTube

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel began streaming Shokugeki no Sōma: Shin no Sara, the fourth season of the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma anime, on Thursday. The channel will stream an episode daily at 6:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside Hong Kong and India, the anime season will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The season premiered in October 2019. Netflix began streaming the fourth season in July 2019.

Yoshitomo Yonetani returned to direct the anime at J.C. Staff. Shogo Yasukawa returned to oversee the series scripts, and Tomoyuki Shitaya returned as character designer.

The fifth and latest season, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate (Shokugeki no Sōma: Gō no Sara), premiered in April 2020, but had delayed new episodes in mid-April due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The season restarted its broadcast from episode 1 in July 2020. Netflix began streaming the fifth season in India in December 2020.

The first anime season aired for 24 episodes from April to September 2015. The second season of the anime series Shokugeki no Sōma: Ni no Sara had 13 episodes aired in July-September 2016. The third season Shokugeki no Sōma: San no Sara premiered in October 2017, and the second half of the third season premiered in April 2018. Ani-One streamed the season in April.

Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012, and ended the series after a three-chapter epilogue in August 2019. Chef Yuki Morisaki is credited for cooperation for the manga. Viz Media released chapters of the manga weekly in English on its app and website, and also releases the manga's compiled book volumes in English. Shueisha also publishes the manga digitally in English on its MANGA Plus service.
