Crunchyroll Hosts One Piece, Blue Lock Activities, More at Hyderabad Comic Con

Crunchyroll detailed the plans for its booth at the Hyderabad Comic-Con on Thursday. The company is hosting a soccer activity with Blue Lock-themed merchandise as prizes, a One Piece-themed photo booth, a 180-degree "time freeze" photo booth, and anime trivia quizzes. Giveaways at the booth include Crunchyroll-branded "swag bags," limited-edition One Piece collector cards, and Solo Leveling acrylic keychains.


Comic-Con India will come to three new cities — Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad — in the 2024-2025 convention season. The event is taking place in eight cities on the following dates:
- Hyderabad Comic-Con: November 15-17
- Delhi Comic-Con: December 6-8
- Bengaluru Comic-Con: January 18-19
- Chennai Comic-Con: February 8-9
- Kolkata Comic-Con: February 22-23
- Pune Comic-Con: March 8-9
- Ahmedabad Comic-Con: March 22-23
Comic-Con India is yet to announce its Mumbai event date. Crunchyroll is once again the 'powered by' partner for the convention.
Crunchyroll hosted voice actor Natsuki Hanae and producer Yūma Takahashi for a panel at Mumbai Comic-Con while they visited the city for anime's World Tour screening. Crunchyroll partnered with Comic-Con India for its events in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai in the 2023-2024 convention season.
Manga creator Terako Shima attended Bengaluru Comic-Con in November 2023. She took part in live drawing sessions at the event and The Kodansha Comics by Manga Planet India booth gave out free copies of the first chapter of her India Calling Me Now (Ima, Indo ni Yobarete) manga.
The Bandai Namco Pop-Up Store hosted a booth at Delhi Comic-Con and Mumbai Comic-Con. Mumbai's booth had freebies, merchandise for sale, "gachapon" machines, and a Taiko no Tatsujin arcade game.
Taiwanese anime distributor Muse Communication also had a booth at the Mumbai Comic-Con in 2024.
