Kadokawa, Earth Star Entertainment's Toxic-a-Holic Franchise Gets Manga
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The October issue of Kadokawa's Comic Gene magazine revealed last Friday that Kadokawa and Earth Star Entertainment's Toxic-a-Holic franchise is inspiring a manga spinoff titled Toxic-a-Holic Alternate Episode, which will debut in the magazine's next issue on October 15. Shinki is drawing the manga, and Teiko Sasaki is credited for composition. The manga will have a color opening page.

The franchise centers on boys who contain toxic and poisonous substances, called "toxic boys." Humanity enlists them to fight against a mysterious invading entity known as "void." As the toxic boys have an understandable image problem, the Tokyo branch of their organization begins putting out PR videos for them to increase their popularity.
Kadokawa and Earth Star Entertainment launched the franchise in November 2024.
Digital Manga Publishing once published Sasaki's Kissing manga in English in 2006.
