“Nande?” from majiko's Upcoming EP Golden Junkie Is Now Available with Its Music Video

Singer-songwriter majiko, who has garnered over 200 million streams across Asia and more than 580,000 YouTube subscribers, released her new song “Nande?” on August 22. This follows the release of “NA TTE NAI” on July 18. Both tracks will be part of her upcoming digital EP GOLDEN JUNKIE, set to release on October 17.

Written, composed, and arranged entirely by majiko, “Nande?” marks a shift from the beat-driven style of “NA TTE NAI,” featuring primarily live instruments. A catchy pop tune, it is anchored by the repeated chorus phrase “Nande?” (“Why?”). The music video, illustrated by Messy Nyasuppeno—who also created the visuals for “Teddy”—was released on the same day as the song.
