Dear Takaya Hashi-sama, I will miss you.
I had the opportunity to work with you on many dubbing sessions, including the role of my father in The Bush Baby. I will never forget singing together with Maya Okamoto and Jūrōta Kosugi, who were part of my family on the show, until late at night at a karaoke bar with a kotatsu table.
Rest in peace.

Megumi Han

At times
That voice stood in my way
I fought alongside that voice
That voice has protected me.
You called me "Megu"
And ask about my life whenever we met…
I've always admired you, Takaya Hashi-san.

Megumi Ogata

The last time I saw you was on Ishura.
We had really long conversations in the lobby while we were waiting. About the past and present, all sorts of things. I was so happy to hear about you finding your own way to live in the “present”…
I got to hear your matured, distinctive style up close, but I wanted to hear so much more. It's such a shame… Please [rest in peace].

Even if we didn't have meals together, there are some people I feel relieved to see when I bump into them in the studio.
We exchanged greetings, smiled, and had casual conversation.
When I realize tthis will no longer be possible I once again realize how grateful I was to have met those people.
Thank you, Takaya Hashi-san
