Plot Summary: The 1969 Apollo 11 Mission to the moon is revealed to be a top-secret reconnaissance mission to investigate an Autobot ship crash. More than 40 years later, Optimus Prime's forces head for the moon and recover Sentinel Prime and components of a secret weapon that would have won them the Cybertronian war. Little does Optimus know that this is an elaborate plot set by the Decepticons to conquer Earth.
