I liked the music in the series, but it was such a mess overall that I can't recommend it to anyone. I agree with James that the reveals in the final episode are just too little, too late (but really, even if Kotono revealed that she's a single mom way earlier do any of us think Caligula could've had the chops to pull it off?). The ending montage was nice, still doesn't elevate the characters past being 1 sentence descriptons, but it was quaint.
What a waste.

falcon.punch, I have to ask, were the characters developed any better in-game or was this a general representation of it?

The game's story is far better, it has character episodes which flesh out them more. The game's VITA version is crap, but the PS4 version seems to be better.

The game develop the characters better, except Myu and Ritsu (MC) who barely got any. The anime is basically those two's route.
