That's standard Blizzard though. They don't release anything until it's up to their standards, and cut projects that fall short; it's why they don't even give tentative release dates anymore, because even they don't really know.

So that makes Starcraft: Ghost roughly equivalent to an FMP sequel, right? Razz

BURN!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

One difference though, Starcraft: Ghost is as far as I know, over. FMP Season 3 probably is still likely to happen. Razz

It'd be awesome if they aired the episodes in chronological order this time.
Ooh, good idea, why don't they fix Pulp Fiction too?

To be fair, the main story in the first season comes from the first Haruhi novel, which was all in chronological order.

This...this was deserving of a headline?

Day news slow, much?

I don't care about the staff for the rerun, or even if it's a "major event" for Japanese TV. I want them to make Vanishment and for the R1 companies to consider importing it even after getting stabbed in the back on MoHS.

So it's finally confirmed that K-ON! will be done by KyoAni (and some people thought it'll be done by A-1 Pictures by the Kannagi staff). Let's see how that series works out.

For the "beginning" of this thread...
NEWS: Kadokawa Shoten Reportedly Says April Haruhi is Rerun.

Yep, even Pulp Fiction already mentioned Smile.

I still don' t see how a rerun could possibly benefit the companies, or the fans. Even with a change of staff, it' s still going to be the same as before. I' m getting a little fed up with these crazy stunts- I want a new season. Not just a poor attempt at refreshing the old series. I personally am looking forward to the You Tube releaes much more than this.

W/e. Kind of stupid how they are hyping up a rerun by claiming staff changes(did anyone get reallly changed? The second staff list is amazingly confusing to find out who does what). At this point it seems a very high majority of people who've seen Haruhi would have by now, I mean if you didn't see on tv, download the fansubs, buy the DVDs, or rent the DVDs in a three year span, then you probably aren't that interested in the show. Can someone tell me why they didn't put K-On on the cover and actually advertise that as it's a new show instead of a rerun for a show that they have no interest in continuing? God I hate corporations.

I've given up on a second season but until I see Haruhi S2, screw the franchise. Atleast Kyoto isn't doing another Key adaptation. It seems that they adapted their art style kinda drastically (looks more like Kannagi and A-1 really than Kyoto) for this.

Why would they announce the staff of a show that's already aired?

Maybe the outcome's changed in the replay? Laughing

That's a really interesting theory!!! I hope it turns out to be something like that!

If the new season of Haruhi is going to be called the "Dissapearance of Suzumiya Haruhi" then surely they'll make the planned re-run "dissapear" and be replaced with this new, Haruhi O<>O?

Seems like the most logical thing to me considering the other viral aspects of their advertising campaign?

You know, I like this theory. It's crazy but, as you said, logical.

It's a textbook case for the use of "overrated"
