I've just realized that Shinji and Kaworu are sharing the same pair of headphones. That's a lot different from the Shinji in episode 1 of the TV series.

Looks like Shinbou will be pleased with this result

Something about being anxious of anime being out of mainstrean entertainment.

Almost 18 years after it first came out, Evangelion keeps on raking cash for Anno & co. With all the merchandise and BD sales the numbers are staggering for anime standards.
