Haven't been able to keep up with the Tournament but thought I'd add my vote anywho. I vote for one of the most insane/craziest characters I've ever had the joy to see on my anime box. She's soo crazy she'd get killed over and over again for no apparent reason. I haven't seen the whole series yet but I'm working on it. Excel my vote is yours to do with as you will. Unfortunately, I do not feel particularly passionately about either of the finalists. I don't like Excel, and Osaka doesn't fit well with my mad scientist view of 'craziness.' In the end, I suppose I'll have to put bad feelings aside and go ahead and vote for Excel. She has that mad cap quality that I tend to associate with crazy, even if I do want to bludgeon her to death. I'm sure if I was dressed up as Ilpalazzo, she wouldn't mind anyway.

Thank you everyone for participating in this long long....long tournament. It was really awsome and I hope you all find time to vote in the upcoming Evil Character Tournament put on by Cow-Boy_Be-Bop. Please keep an eye out for the soon to be posted nominations/revisement thread concerning this. And I'd like to personally thank PantsGoblin, frentymon, and especially undeadben for all the time they put in.

It's finally over! I hope Cow-Boy_Be-Bop's tournament turns out as well. I know she's been looking forward to it for a long time.
This was a lot of fun and often provided a nice distraction from the dreaded real world!

Wow, Osaka lost by a landslide.
Anyway, thanks to all those who put so much time and effort into organizing these tournaments! I know what it is like to work hard towards something and not be appreciated...being a former high school journalist and all. Also, I tried this kind of thing with my club and it failed miserably (but only because they didn't care or know any of the characters for that matter). Can't wait until the next one!

Thanks Me and a few other were concerned. We have the hole list filled out with 128 characters, but we wanted to know if you guys wanted a new nomination thread anyway becfause for a few we are not sure if all are truely evil or not, do you want to review the list yourselves? Or just leave it and have it battled out in the tournament? |

It might be nice to see the list beforehand. There might be characters missing that really could stand to be there. For example, Revolutionary Girl Utena isn't particularly big on this board, but I can honestly say that Ohtori Akio is perhaps the most convincingly villainous character I've seen. If he weren't on there, I wouldn't be surprised, given that Utena isn't often mentioned here, but I would also implore to have him added (as I'm sure several people would second.) |
