The reason Tenga products get advevrtised as one-used only is - drumroll please - prelubrication! The big thing there is that they're ready to go when you are, but if you wash them out, you wash out the lube, too(I did see somebody suggest that the third way out was to finish your business elsewhere, but I don't think that's actually as sanitary as he thinks).

Tenga does make products intended to be reused, but they lack the prelubrication and cost more.

They didn't go out and make their own onahole; they just picked the Tenga egg because, well, it's egg-shaped(and cheap).
