Tarantino: Kill Bill: Vol. 3 Film Is 'Still In the Cards'

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Director Quentin Tarantino shared with radio host Andy Cohen on Monday that Kill Bill Vol. 3, a hypothetical third film in his Kill Bill series, is "still in the cards." He stated that he was recently talking to Uma Thurman, the lead actress for the series, and that he has "an idea of what I would do with the concept." He also said that he "wouldn't do [the movie] for a little bit. It would be at least three years from now."

Tarantino previously said in 2016 that he still considers the movie a possibility.

Katsuhito Ishii and Shōu Tajima designed the characters that Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, Miss Hokusai) animated for the Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren" sequence (pictured at right) that appeared in the first Kill Bill volume from 2003. Production I.G added seven minutes of animation to the section for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the combined cut of Kill Bill: Vol 1 and 2004's Kill Bill: Vol. 2. Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair debuted in 2011.
