Girls Band Cry Game Launches on September 28

Carry drunk Momoka home in Momoka (o) Wasshoi 2D platformer


The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Girls Band Cry anime announced on Saturday that the Momoka (o) Wasshoi (Momoka Heave-Ho) game will launch for PC via Steam on September 28 (September 29 in Japan). The game will be discounted until October 12 to celebrate the release.

The Steam page describes the 2D platformer game: Momowasho, a mysterious mini-game born from the “Girls Band Cry” anime, has unexpectedly been released!

Control Nina and Subaru and send Momoka back to her sofa at home!

Players take control of Nina and Subaru, avoiding obstacles to take a drunk Momoka home. According to its Steam page, the game will be in Japanese with no English-language support.

The two-film Seishun Kyо̄sо̄kyoku (Rhapsody of Youth) and Naa, Mirai. (Hey, Future.) compilation for the anime will open in theaters on October 3 and November 14 respectively.

The television anime premiered in April 2024 and aired for 13 episodes. Toei Animation released the anime in English digitally in North America on August 13. Crunchyroll started streaming the series on November 6.
