This makes as much sense as the original no more heroes being an exclusive on a Nintendo console or Devils third on the Wii. These are violent games while Nintendo caters to a family friendly audience, hence why about the only shooter on a wii console is splatoon. This is nothing against the switch but NMH is better off on the ps or xbox due to their targeted base.

On the other hand graphics wise NMH goes cel shading, so it will look good on the switch, so that is not an issue.

Ill probably get both maybe next year, but I kind of want to wait for the switch plus or new switch that will release at some point.

Tell me about it. I don't want to play a collection of low budget indie games.

No More Heroes' entire control scheme and thematics were built around the Wii Remote. How the Wii Remote matches the beam katanas. How they're both phallic symbols. How the motion controls are used for "finishing moves" to create a climax to any given encounter. No More Heroes isn't just an edgy ha-ha, it's a very deliberately-crafted gameplay + thematic experience.

The original no more heroes was ported to PS3 as an "enhanced" edition. no more heroes 2 has been exclusive to wii though

The Ps3 "enhanced" version of the first game sold worse than the original Wii release, which was Grasshopper's best seller till Lolipop Chainsaw was a thing (a thing that also wasn't good apparently so not sure if that really accounts for much) so pretty sure Suda 51 would disagree with you.

Plus, Suda said in an interview (on Anime News Network!) that he wanted everybody to play the Wii version because he had nothing to do with the PS3 version.

of course, in 2017, it may be easier to get your hands on the PS3 version if you don't already own a Wii or a Wii U.

the N64 had Perfect dark and the Gamecube had Resident evil 4, I don't see an issue.

Okay? And that has nothing to do with what I said. It was with the Wii that nintendo basically got out of the 3rd party gaming, and basically went full force towards a family friendly console. And if you were going to try to make a point you could have at least pointed out that Killer 7 , an early Suda game was on the gamecube in addition to the ps2.

Also the sales on the original was pretty much just as bad as the ps3 port. The original wii version sold maybe 500k , while the ps3 port sold 200-250k. Suda games in generally dont really sell well and the port came out quite a bit later. PS owners are lot more likely to have a wii then a wii owner is to have a ps3 since the ps3 was a more expensive and premium console, so the owners of those would have more cash to spend. While on the other hand, the wii was seen as cheap and affordable console for the whole family. So its hard to say how much NMH would have sold if it had originally been released on the ps3 xbox. And to the other point, the xbox ps3 title Lolipop Chainsaw massacre was easily their best selling game.

Well, there you go. "Suda games in general don't exactly sell well". Exactly. If he cared about making money, he wouldn't be making games like killer7 or No More Heroes in the first place. Trying to make them "sell well" (instead of making them more creative and unique by using non-traditional hardware) is counterintuitive to what they already are.
