I open they extend the visiting time past the corona lockdown. I'll love to plan another trip to Japan and check this out, but I can't while travel restrictions are in place.

While that would be a great thing to see, I really want the conventions to come back before thinking about going to Japan again.

I hope that they extend it past March, who knows if we'll be able to travel by then without having to spend two weeks in quarantine =/

I don't understand why it's such a limited time showing. You'd think they'd milk it for as long as it brought in tourists and their money, considering how much it must've cost to build the thing. What happens to it after March? Still pretty cool looking, however long it's up.

Yeah, it is hard to understand. You want to make your money back.

Maybe the costs to maintain it will be too high or where the space it is built on is only being rented.

Operating it isn't going to be cheap, and the longer it operates the higher the chance of it breaking down/requiring significant maintenance. (Which will have costs of their own.) So, there has to be a balance point.
