I wish Dark Horse would do hardcover editions of Oh/Ah My Goddess!. That or at least continue releasing the Omnibuses with translation notes added back in.
Real glad about this news however bittersweet it is. RIP

Really? A hard cover edition of Oh My Goddess? I don't think many would be interested...

Small update as of Sunday 3:08 PM EST. Some of those Hard Cover Editions are out of stock. 7th one was in stock however. Not sure if it relates to one's local amazon warehouse however.
On the Rightstuf side all the hard covers are out of stock with most but not all of the single volumes out of stock as well. Dark Horse might need to go into extra printings unless they got a bunch in storage waiting.

You're probably right. It's mostly coming from a super fan point of view like me who wants it. I'll gladly settle again for the continue Omnibus releases (hopefully with translation notes added back in).

For Berserk related articles, the over 40 million copies in circulation should be updated to over 50 million copies in circulation now. I believe Hakusensha updated the number during Miura’s death announcement.

I bought the most recent volume on Amazon when it was announced Kentaro Miura died since I needed it and it was only $29.87, however I didn't think they'd actually sell out of all volumes. I just assumed Dark Horse made a lot since they've always been easy to get in the past but I guess the demand was just very high after the announcement.

Didn't the Omnibuses sell bad so they canceled it? I bought the first and was very disappointed they canceled it.

I believe so. The un-flipped (it was one of the first if not the first manga released in the US) single volumes are actually better due to having deep translation notes while the Omnibuses don't have any what so ever. The Omnibuses have better paper (IMO) and of course being a better value because it's $15-20 USD for 3 volumes while it's like $10-13 for the single volumes and of course in a bigger size which I personally like. Sometimes I wish Dark Horse would lose the license and maybe someone like Kodansha USA would re-release it in a better form (kinda like the Square Enix Soul Eater release).

looks like i bought vol 7 just in time. just got it in the mail today. and put my pre order for the next vol as well. looks like dark horse is gonna have to double up on their stock.
