Not that I used Hulu or anything, but RIP Hulu. It's almost certainly going to get assimilated into Disney Plus.

I wonder what’s going to happen to the anime’s on Hulu not licensed by Disney?

I think Disney will keep Hulu separated from Disney plus. I think they see Hulu as their more "mature' brand and Disney plus as their "family" brand. They've already been bundling it along with ESPN service. From a business standpoint I see no point in adding it's catalog to Disney Plus (as a consumer it's quite the opposite). Why collect 1 monthly fee when you can collect 2?

Spare a few moments to think about the employees' fate.

They literally just released a trailer yesterday for a TV-MA Marvel series coming this January to Disney+.

I think he's just looking for some hot take upvotes.

......Should we tell him ANN forums don't have an upvote system?

Why would they be looking for upvotes? They knew what they were signing up for when they joined this site.

Either way, Disney is on their way to becoming the entertainment industry equivalent of Nestle, an avaricious corporation that has become "too big to fail" and ethically shouldn't exist.

How is this going to affect Viz since they no longer stream their anime on Crunchyroll and a large chunk of their back catalog you can only stream on Hulu?

Idk, they'll probably move the shows to Disney+ and/or put the former Hulu exclusives on other services like Netflix.

CR is streaming Zom 100 and Captain Tsubasa S2. What the heck are you on about? If Viz can't put their shit on Disney+, there's nothing stopping them from working again with CR. Rolling Eyes

Outside of abusing copyright laws and supporting an ongoing g3nocide, what other unethical things have they done? Like I don't doubt they are unethical, I just haven't heard about the reasons.

They pulled all of the Viz shows from Crunchyroll last year like Inuyasha, Death Note, and Bleach. This all easy to find what shows they pulled from their site.
