Attack on Titan Cast Spend the Day at Universal Studios Japan

The "Attack on Titan the Real" attraction opened at Universal Studios Japan in May and the anime's cast decided to check out the ride over the weekend. Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi), Saki Fujita (Ymir), Tomohisa Hashizume (Bertholdt), Shiori Mikami (Historia), Marina Inoue (Armin), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), and newlywed Yūki Kaji (Eren) were all at the Osaka theme park on Saturday. Supposedly the outing was at the request of Kamiya who told his cast mates that he wanted to go to Universal Studios together.
The cast suited up in Survey Corps cloaks and maneuver gear for a few photo ops and checked out the Attack on Titan ride. They took pictures with the Levi and Erwin "cronoids," signed display posters, and ate together at the park's Finnegan's Bar & Grill restaurant.
In several of the photos you can see the cast getting into character. In the group photo everyone is smiling enthusiastically except for Hashizume and Kamiya.
"Attack on Titan the Real" depicts a battle with original animation. The characters attempt to reclaim Wall Maria amid a Titan onslaught. The Survey Corps members fly around the venue during the show.
Universal Studios Japan is offering the largest number of Cool Japan rides this year. Besides Attack on Titan, the theme park is hosting Detective Conan, Lupin the 3rd, Sailor Moon and an Evangelion and Godzilla crossover.
