Weekend Wrapup 29/3 - 4/4

This week featured some pretty big news and included some major announcements made by Madman at last weekend's Supanova in Melbourne. As well as some slightly odd Haruhi news to keep the fans guessing.
- Madman Melbourne Supanova Announcements: 5 Centimetres per Second, Gurren Lagaan and Rozen Maiden get licensed, Madman going to release anime on BluRay starting with original Transformers movie.
- Kadokawa setting up new Video Game Company: Kadokawa Group Holdings, the parent company of many anime and manga related companies, has announced that they have set up a new company, Kadokawa Games, to coordinate the production and distribution of video games amongst all it's divisions and brands.
- Lucky Star creator to launch new manga in Comp Ace magazine in April: Same issue will also feature New Strike Witches, Summer Wars Gaiden and Valkyrie Complex
- Evangelion: 2.0 teaser trailers streamed online: Yahoo! Japan is hosting two trailers for Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance
- Japanese re-airing of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi to have 28 episodes despite the original series being only 14 episodes long: Also the episodes are going to be shown in chronological order unlike the original airing.
