Film distributor Odex announced on Wednesday that it will open a wide screening of the Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen and Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai anime films in Singapore. Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen will open on Friday, and Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai will open on March 16.

Odex previously screened the premiere of both films in Singapore during its Odex Film Festival event from February 20 to 26.

Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen, the final installment in the film trilogy based on NisiOisin's Kizumonogatari light novel, opened in Japan on January 6.

Tatsuya Oishi, who directed the Bakemonogatari anime series, directed the film trilogy at the anime studio SHAFT. Akiyuki Simbo is credited as chief director. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka designed the characters. Yota Tsuruoka directed the sound, and Satoru Kousaki composed the music.

The film earned 86,718,100 yen (about US$746,000) and ranked #9 in the Japanese box office in its opening weekend.

Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life.

The first film in the trilogy, Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu, premiered in Japan last January, while the second film, Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen, opened in Japan last August. Odex debuted both films in Singapore at the Anime Festival Asia convention last September, before screening the second film in a three-day limited engagement in Golden Village Cinemas in Singapore in November.

Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai opened in Japan in December. The film debuted at #9 in the Japanese box office in its opening weekend.

The "Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai ~Renai Series~" anime project adapts the stories of Vocaloid songs by HoneyWorks from their Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita album. Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai is the second film in the project, and is based on the songs "Ima Suki ni Naru" (I'm Falling in Love Now) and "sankaku Jealousy" (Triangle Jealousy).

As with the first film, Tetsuya Yanagisawa (High School DxD, Blade Dance of the Elementalers) directed the film at Qualia Animation off scripts by Yoshimi Narita (HappinessCharge PreCure!, Beet the Vandel Buster). Maki Fujii (Blade Dance of the Elementalers, Pupa) served as character designer and chief animation director.

The first film, Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai, opened in Japan last April. Odex screened the film at the Anime Festival Asia convention in September.
