M&C! Licenses 7 New Manga Titles for November

Okitenenmuru, Secret Idol, more slated for November 22, 29 release

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Wednesday that it has licensed Chitose Yagami's Secret Idol (Himitsu no Ōji-sama), Hiro Haruna's I'll Teach You to be a Better Girl (Tetori Ashitori Oshiete Yaru yo), Chika's Asami-sensei's Secret (Asami-sensei no Himitsu), Natsumi Ouchi's Dream Note (Esoragoto Note), Kozue Chiba's Good Morning, Good Night, I Love You (Kyō kara Mongen 7:00 Desu), Hitori Renda's Okitenemuru, and Kotoko Shiroba's Come to My Clinic (Ore no Hokenshitsu ni Oide) manga.

Secret Idol's first volume is slated for November 22. M&C! describes the manga:

The manga centers on Asahi, a poor girl who is a big fan of the male idol group Trap. She works part-time jobs dressed as a boy so as not to be recognized by her schoolmates. But one day on the job, she is scouted and enlisted as a member of Trap! While now she gets to spend dreamlike days with her idols, she has to maintain the secret that she is a girl!

Yagami launched the manga in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine in September 2014, and ended it in October 2015. Shogakukan published four compiled book volumes for the manga.

Yagami's earlier Ore-sama Kingdom manga was adapted into two anime specials. M&C! released all 12 volumes of the Ore-sama Kingdom manga under the title My Kingdom. Yagami launched the Hapikon! ~Ōji to Sekai Ichi! Happy-na Kekkon~ manga in Ciao in August 2016, and ended it on July 3.

I'll Teach You to be a Better Girl is slated for November 22. M&C! describes the manga:

Miki confessed to the guy she loves and was subsequently rejected. She tried to justify the end result by saying to herself that she was boring, lazy, and generally didn't deserve him. But then she meets a handsome yet puzzling guy who gives her a complete 180 and helps her on her quest to be an "upstanding" girl.

Haruna published the manga in Shogakukan's Manga ONE app in 2016. Shogakukan released one compiled book volume for the manga in August 2016.

Asami-sensei's Secret's first volume is slated for November 22. M&C! describes the manga:

I entered this school with flowers blooming in my heart, because Kobayashi, the girl I've loved since middle school, is in the same school. But getting close to Kobayashi is proving to be harder than I thought, all because of Asami-sensei, a teacher and cousin of my classmate.

Chika launched the manga in Kodansha's ARIA magazine in 2014, and ended it in 2016. Kodansha published four compiled book volumes for the manga.

Dream Note is slated for November 22. M&C! describes the manga:

RIRIKO is a high school student who practically lives in the hospital due to a serious illness. Her situation has taught her to never be friendly or smile, but in truth there are many things she wants to do once she gets out of the hospital: chat with friends while going home from school, fall in love, do a job that makes her useful to others... such dreams she writes in her notebook. And one day, she gets the chance to make all of that come true.

The book contains all five chapters of the manga, as well as the "Dream Note - The First Step for a Dream" one-shot that preceded the main manga. Ōuchi launched the manga in Shueisha's Margaret magazine in 2013, and ended it in the same year. Shueisha published one compiled book volume for the manga.

Good Morning, Good Night, I Love You's first volume is slated for November 22. M&C! describes the manga:

"Before I met him, I didn't know that something so simple as saying 'good morning' or 'good night,' or eating with someone, could make my heart tighten like this."

Toka's mother passed away, leaving her alone. Until before her very doorstep appears the mysterious Ryu, claiming to be subordinate who had worked under Toka's mother at the office. He forces himself into Toka's life as her guardian, and it is thanks to him that Toka slowly begins to realize the kind of spoiling that she had never experienced under her mother.

Chiba launched the manga in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine in 2015, and ended it in 2016. Shogakukan published two compiled book volumes for the manga.

Okitenemuru's first volume is slated for November 29. M&C! describes the manga:

In this city, there are rumors of a man with the head of a giraffe eating other human beings. There are rumors of a girl with the head of a snake. All are followed by grisly deaths. There are rumors that they have been infected with a new type of parasite that breeds within the human body. The only way to prevent its spread is to kill the infected.

Only a few know the pieces of the answer, a key that will determine the life and death of mankind. The new parasite's mysterious name: "Okitenemuru."

Renda launched the manga in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine in January 2014, where it is currently ongoing. Futabasha published the manga's seventh compiled book volume on July 1.

Renda's previous work include the manga adaptation of Nobuaki Kanazawa's Ousama Game (King's Game) cellphone novel, which ran on Futabasha's Everystar Premium online service from 2011 to 2012, and received five volumes. The original novel is inspiring a television anime adaptation that premiered on October 5.

Come to My Clinic is slated for November 29.

The manga centers on Miu, who tends to cry even for very simple reasons. Her male classmates make fun of her for it, but the school doctor Yūge sees her and talks to her about. Miu learns that Yūge has a very feminine side that makes girls very comfortable around him, and Miu begins to fall in love with him. But Miu soon finds out that Yūge has another, more sadistic side.

Futabasha published the book under its KoiYui label in 2014.
