25-Sai no Joshi Kōsei Anime's Promo Video Previews Voices

Series starring Hitomi Harada, Chiharu Sawashiro premieres on January 7

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Makana's 25-Sai no Joshi Kōsei~Kodomo ni wa Oshierarenai Koto Shite Yaru yo (25-Year-Old High School Girl: I'll Do What Can't Be Taught to Children) manga began streaming a new promotional video on Wednesday. The video previews the voices of Hitomi Harada as Hana and Chiharu Sawashiro as Okito.

The anime will premiere on January 7 on Tokyo MX and other channels.

The romance story centers around Hana Natori, an earnest, good-natured 25-year-old woman whose cousin refuses to go to high school. Hana takes her cousin's place and attends the high school. On her first day, though, Hana's ruse is discovered by her former high school classmate Okito Kanie — who happens to be the high school's world history teacher.

The anime will have a "regular edition" on television, and a "complete edition" with explicit scenes that will be available on ComicFesta's Anime Zone service.

The cast includes

Hitomi Harada (regular edition), Kirika Waō (complete edition) as Hana Natori

Chiharu Sawashiro (regular edition), Kyohei Morishita (complete edition) as Okito Kanie

Tomohito Takatsuka (regular edition), Tetsuto Furukawa (complete edition) as Naoyuki Aida, a student in Kanie's class

Hideta Ōta is directing the anime at the studio Lilix for Picante Circus, and Shinichiro Sawayama is writing the scripts. Sawako Yamamoto is designing the characters and serving as chief animatin director. Tetsuro Orita is directing the sound at Cosmic Ray and Tavac. The publishing company Suiseisha is producing.

Saki Hazuki is performing the theme song "Reunion."
