1st Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia Anime Seasons Removed From Crunchyroll

posted on by Karen Ressler
Crunchyroll is "working through the rights"

Crunchyroll is currently no longer streaming the first seasons of the Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia anime. The respective second and third seasons are still available. Crunchyroll told ANN that it is "working through the rights for season 1 for both titles and will share any additional details soon."

Both series were among the few Funimation-licensed anime that remained on Crunchyroll after Crunchyroll and Funimation ended their partnership to share content in November.

The first season of Attack on Titan aired in 2013 and streamed on both Crunchyroll and Funimation, before the two companies began their partnership. The first season of My Hero Academia had a simulcast exclusively through Funimation in 2016, and Crunchyroll added the series in 2017 after the partnership began.
