Netflix India to Release A Certain Scientific Accelerator, 'Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-kun' Anime

Both anime series stream on September 1

Netflix India is listing the A Certain Scientific Accelerator and Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun anime series on its streaming service. Both series will stream on the service starting on September 1.

The televsion anime adaptation of A Certain Scientific Accelerator (Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator) manga premiered in Japan on July 12, and aired for 12 episodes. Netflix India describes the story:

He's no hero. In fact, Accelerator just wants to be left alone. But when a group of zealots known as the DA appear, he's forced into action.

Nobuharu Kamanaka (Big Order) directed the anime at J.C. Staff. Kenji Sugihara (Clockwork Planet, Shiki) was in charge of series composition. Yohei Yaegashi (Tsūjō Kōgeki ga Zentai Kōgeki de Ni-kai Kōgeki no Okā-san wa Suki desu ka?, Aki no Kanade) designed the characters. Jin Aketagawa (Children of the Whales, anohana) was the sound director, and Maiko Iuchi (A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun) composed the music. THE SIXTH LIE performed the opening theme song "Shadow is the Light," and sajou no hana performed the ending theme song "Parole."

The televsion anime adaptation of of Osamu Nishi's Mairimashita! Iruma-kun manga premiered last October, and aired for 23 episodes. Netflix India describes the story:

When Iruma's parents sell him to a powerful demon, the kindhearted 14-year-old doesn't expect to be adopted and sent to a demon high school.

Makoto Moriwaki (Onegai My Melody - Kuru Kuru Shuffle!, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku, PriPara) directed the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Princess Resurrection, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Girls' Last Tour) was in charge of series composition. Akimitsu Honma (RIN-NE, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) composed the music. NHK and NHK Enterprises are credited for production.

The anime will receive a second season in spring 2021.

Nishi launched the manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2017.
